We believe that there are three
key elements to a successful project:
- Clear definition of the problem and the
scope;
- Efficient design and delivery, taking
account of budget, operating and operators' requirements,
constructability, health & safety, planning and environmental
constraints and other factors as appropriate;
- Effective training of operating and
maintenance staff and managers.
Our role is to ensure that each of these
elements, as well as other aspects of the project, are delivered
successfully.
As a small consultancy, we do not yet have the
resources to offer a complete in-house package, except on small projects.
Instead, we use our skills and experience to manage clients' staff and
other specialists. Our role is to ensure that each member of the team
works efficiently to deliver:
- A project which is deliverable in terms of
planning, health & safety and other constraints.
- A holistic design which fulfils the
objectives of the project, whilst making efficient use of time and
resources;
- A plant which is appropriate to the skills
and availability of the operation and maintenance staff.
This may be achieved as a full or part-time
member of the client's team, or by ad-hoc "design audits" as
appropriate.
